“We have a last minute shuffle and will need to move your group up onto Meadow Street towards the VFW, before the large checkerboard on the map. Two food trucks will be parked at Bird's Store near the triangle so we need to make room for folks who will be getting food. The good news is you will have a captive audience while they wait!”(edited)
Sorry, It was supposed to be Sunday the 18th from 10-2, but since we had to cancel a few meetings we are going to have to put if off until after Christmas. Their next date would be January 22.
We will start the meeting with discord likely about 10:05 or so once everyone is here. We can figure out what we want to do and what is possible. We are definitely able to do it remotely as we have done it before and it works pretty good. If you are feeling sick and not up for it it is definitely fine, get some rest and we can catch up on Monday (or later).
We have yet another sickness in the family this time it is Sue. We will not be meeting in person tomorrow. If anyone want to do things remotely let us know. Two big open items are the generic driving code and the claw. We will try to work on the generic driving code in the next couple of days.
@everyone if you would like to meet in person at my house, my address is 15 Torrey St, Easthampton. I have a thing from 1:30 to 4:30, so we should meet at the regular time(edited)
FTC itself usually starts at 5:30, with pizza starting at 5. Therefore we were going with 5:30

I can’t meet on the next two Saturdays because of the play I am in is it possible to have a meeting to do the arm stuff Thursday or Friday of one or both weeks?
We talked with Andrew today and we were wondering if anyone is available on Monday between 10-2 to meet at Lighthouse for a scrimmage with the Aquabots. We won't be there the entire time, we were just wondering if there was any interest. Also, we never talked about meeting or not on Monday night for our regular meeting. Let me know what you and your parents think. See you in the morning.
@everyone we are meeting today at 5:00. No pizza just a meeting so plan our plan is 5-7. If you need to leave early, come late or can't make it we understand
We dont get home until late Tuesday night. Most people are available Thursday after 4:30, so if you want to practice let's meet then. I'll let you know of anything changes.
What would everyone like to work on? I'd like to practice the presentation once and let people practice driving if they want. We also need to make sure all the screws are tight and the strings are OK.
@everyone I have a conflict on Mondays for the next 5 or so weeks. Is it possible to move the meeting back about half an hour so I can attend the last ~hour?(edited)

I updated the team calendar with this change and also added the reveal date (Sept 9th). The calendar is at https://calendar.google.com/calendar/u/1?cid=ZnRjMjIwNTlAZ21haWwuY29t. Let us know if you do not have access. We will be using this as the official calendar for the year.
We just got an email from the First FTC Regional Coordinator talking about the kickoff events they are having on September 9th. They are having one at WNEU that we will plan to attend. We can talk about the details as things get closer. The email is below:
We got more information about the kickoff event on September 9th. WNUE location is confirmed and the schedule is below.
8:00 - 8:30 Meet & Greet, Games & Mixers
8:30 - 10:30 Workshops
11:00 - 12:00 Weston Kickoff / Stream* (note: 11 AM start subject to modification - please check the website for changes prior to attending; we will also inform teams on site/day of if we need to adjust the 11:00 AM start).
Our plan for Kickoff includes having feeds from our Main Kickoff to both satellite locations so teams will be tuned in to view speeches and season specific information that will be shared from Weston*
Additionally, each Kickoff will have its own set of workshops (some may be the same, some may differ per location.)
Also, where there are any giveaway items, we will include all teams attending a Kickoff in any drawing that takes place at the main Kickoff.
Finally, each satellite Kickoff will have a Field with the CENTERSTAGE game elements available for viewing, measuring, photos, etc. post the reveal video along with someone running the Q&A.
@everyone If the majority of us are available, Saturday Sept. 2nd from 10-12 we're going to have an open house at Forbes Library. Please let me know if you can or can't attend because we have to book a room

Replying to @Alex who asked " Should I plan to get to Forbes a little early to set things up for the match videos?"
10:00 is the earliest we can get there. 10:30 is when the flyer said it starts. We went tonight and checked it out. Looks like we have things setup so we can just plug HDMI into the projector.
Hey, we are invited to MillPond Live on this Friday/Saturday for outreach. Also, they asked us if we’re willing to help either pick up trash, set up tents, or tidy the park. Is anyone willing and/or available?
I’m still in contact with millpond, and I’ve heard from 2 people. Anybody else who hasn’t responded let me know if you are or are not available Saturday. We are going to be there from between 4-8, you don’t have to stay for the entire time, they asked for volunteers for setup between 4-5 and 7-8

@everyoneTomorrow we will be meeting remotely only from 10-11. This meeting will focus on the to-do list, milestones to get us ready for the competition, and figuring out our direction.
Additionally, we sent an email to Deerfield Academy telling them that we won't make the scrimmage on Sunday due to covid close contacts.

As we talked about at Saturdays meeting we are formally expanding the times for the Saturday meetings to 10:00 - 12:30 going forward. This does not mean you need to stay after 12:00 but will allow you to plan for your pickup up till 12:30 if you would like to.(edited)
@Alex@Lucas
At the automation fair, there is confirmed to be two GNCE teams, and the Canton Robodogs. Please wear your shirts and hats. @malone You’re covered, you can use my moms shirt and hat unless pete brings you a hat
Finish up your linear slide code. Zach checked in the initial files you sent me. Pull the most recent code back and add your changes to that. Wait to check-in though.
Hey people! Tomorrow's meeting will be at Alex's house. Address is 15 Torrey St, Easthampton (https://maps.app.goo.gl/xxd5H54sFPvGmsy96). My number is 413-219-0588 if you get lost or are being chased by a wolf or something. We will be working in my shop, which while heated is still a bit chilly. The time is the same. See you tomorrow!
All meeting changes and deadlines have been added to the calendar. The one exception is the makeup day talked about for Wednesday Dec 27th. Is everyone available on Thursday instead as some have conflicts on Wednesday. Please let us know your availability. Thanks.
